Then, what did such happen that Ravana could not take birth in Kaliyuga? How did Shrikrishna finally kill Ravana? You must have been astonished that Ram killed Ravana. Then, on what basis are we saying that Shrikrishna killed Ravana?
Actually, Ravana was not just one person, but was such an evil spirit who kept on taking birth again and again from Satyuga to Dwapar Yuga too. At last, Shri Krishna killed that evil spirit and freed the world from it.The karma channel is going to tell you today about the stories of Ravana’s previous births and upcoming births of whose slaughter lord Vishnu himself has to come; Vishnu has to incarnate in the form of Ram Na Krishna.
According to the tradition of Sanatan Dharma, Ravana, and Kumbhakarna were watch guards of Lord Vishnu in Vaikuntha in their previous birth. Their Names were Jai and Vijaya. As a consequence of the curse, Vishnu’s devotees, Named Jai and Vijaya, have to take birth as Demons onto the earth. To make free from this, Vishnu incarnated again and again on earth for his devotee Jai-Vijaya. According to a story of Shreemadbhagwat, There were two watch guards of Lord Vishnu in the Vaikuntha, whose names were Jai and Vijaya.
Both were the devotees of Lord Vishnu, but once they became proud of themselves that only they were the greatest devotees of Lord Vishnu. At that time, the Maanasputra of Lord Brahma, named Sages Sankaadi, went to Vaikuntha with the desire to see Lord Vishnu. The watch guards stopped them from entering and considered him an ordinary child. Getting angry with this, Sankaadi Munis cursed them that-

It means- Soon you go from here to sinful Asurayoni. After suffering from this curse in three births, you people will be back to this Vaikuntha.
Now, this curse had to come true. Therefore, preparations started regarding this in Prithvi Lok. In Satyuga Diti, the wife of sage Kashyapa wooed her husband a lot to have a son. Diti was so engrossed in lust that she did not give up her stubbornness even after Kashyapji’s persuasion.

Shrimad Bhagwat Puran, Third Skandh, Chapter 14
Kashyap Ji tells his wife Diti that unauspicious Chandi, you would give birth to two very unauspicious and unrighteous sons from your womb.
They would make the entire world and Lokpalas cry with their atrocities again and again. When they start killing many innocent people with their hands, the savior of the world, Jagadishwar, will incarnate by getting angry and will kill them. Diti had no grief at all even after listening to all this. In fact, she was happy, for God himself would kill her sons.
In the seventh Skandha of Shrimadbhagwat Puran, Narad ji tells Yuddhishthira that those were both watch guards who were born as the son of Diti, named Hiranyakashyapu and Hiranyaaksha. Both were the best among the societies of Daitya and Asuras. Lord Vishnu killed Hiranyaksha by taking the Varah avatar first and then killed Hiranyakashyipu by taking the Narasimha avatar. But due to the curse of the sages, they did not get freedom, and they still had to take two more births. So Jai and Vijaya were born again in the form of Ravan and Kumbhkarna in the Tretayuga.

Shrimadbhaagwat Puran, Saptam Skandh, Chapter 1
Narad ji says to Yuddhishthira that they were Hiranyaaksh and Hiranyakashyapu only, who were born from the womb of Kaikasi by Vishrwa muni in the form of demons. Their names were Ravana and Kumbhakarna. This time too, Bhagwan killed them. Lord Vishnu incarnated as Shriram this time and, by killing Ravana and Kumbhakarna, completed his next step toward freedom from the curse of his devotee Jai and Vijaya.
Now, it was time to take their third birth. In Dwaparayuga, both were born from the womb of Pandu’s sons’ aunt.

Shreemad bhagwat Puran
Narad ji says that they were now born in the form of Shishupala and Dantavaktra in this era. Shishupal and Dantvaktra both considered Lord Shrikrishna their enemy. As a result of the curse of Sankaadi sages, they were killed by the hands of Lord Vishnu. Due to their enmity towards Sri Hari, both of them got merged into God after this birth.
This time God killed Shishupala in the form of Ravana and Dantavaktra in the form of Kumbhakarna. After this, Jai and Vijay were completely freed from the curse. This is the reason why there was no need for Ravana to incarnate in Kaliyuga. But the wickedness in the form of Ravana persists in many people even today.
