After the grand consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya on 22 January 2024 and the inauguration of the grand temple of Ram Lalla, now Ram Lalla is being worshiped in foreign countries also. The government of South East country Laos has issued a stamp in devotion to Ram Lalla. Laos has become the first country in the world to issue this postage stamp. India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar was also present there while releasing the stamp on Ram Lalla. Laos’ relationship with India is thousands of years old. Many Hindus and Buddhists from ancient India propagated Hinduism and Buddhism in Laos and even today the majority of the population there follows Buddhism and Hinduism. Laos was the only country in the world where the official language was Sanskrit and Sanskrit language is respected there even today. Earlier, in Netherlands, which was also known as Holland, notes were issued in the name of Ram Mudra.
